Ron, All the teak that goes into the factory Catalinas comes from H&L Marine in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. 323.636.1718. The book shelves in the 42 pullman as you described are custom fitted at the factory.
If you are talking about the shelf that some folks have put on the forward facing bulkhead by the mast, then they have either been made themselves by the owner or commissioned a shipwright to do the work. Most marine stores have a section selling teak materials (getting smaller all the time) and in some you may find book shelves of different sizes available, but to custom fit one in a place of your chosing, you will need to either do the job yourself have someone make it for you.

: I have a 1992 two-cabin (#301) and want to know if anyone knows of a source (or the source) for the bookshelf that's in the Pullman cabin. I want to add an identical shelf at the forward end of the cabin - too many cruising guides.... Ron
