1. As to topic - if you do a search there are a number of other postings way way down the list of topics (Ctrl+F) to find.
2. I have used the old door for a couple of months and don't see any problem (other then the unit might run more). I purchased the new door when buying the boat because of all the messages about changing the door. So I do plan to change the door but not on the top of my list of todo's.
3. Were did you get direction for replacement. I have the door, the can of foam, the plastic trim for inside but no instructions? I would like to see the instructions before taking things apart.
